Welcome to Faith & Redemption

Welcome. I’m Dr. Gary D. Jones, and I’m glad you’re here.

I wanted a place where we could keep talking after the last page of a book. A place to open Scripture, ask honest questions, and consider what faith looks like when life gets difficult.

That is what Faith & Redemption is for.

Your past does not have to have the final word

Marked for Redemption: The Streets Didn’t Win tells my story. It is a testimony of struggle, spiritual awakening, and the grace of God. I share it because I know how easy it is to believe that where you began determines where you will end.

Second Corinthians 5:17 points us toward the new life we have in Christ. That truth gives us a reason to move forward. We can acknowledge what happened, take responsibility where we need to, and trust God with the work that remains.

Learning to stand firm

In The Battle You Cannot See, I turn to spiritual warfare and the freedom believers have in Jesus Christ. My desire is to help readers approach the subject through Scripture, with understanding and confidence in Christ.

Ephesians 6:10–18 calls believers to find their strength in the Lord, put on the armor of God, and remain prayerful. We need that grounding when we face conflict, temptation, discouragement, or confusion.

Let’s keep the conversation going

Here I’ll share reflections on redemption, forgiveness, spiritual warfare, and living out our faith. My hope is that you will take time to read, think, pray, and bring what you discover into your own walk with God.

As we begin, consider this: Where do you need to trust Christ with the next step? You may have an answer immediately. You may need to sit with the question for a while. Either way, bring it to Him honestly.

You can explore both books here or find them on my Amazon author page. For reader correspondence and speaking inquiries, reach me at gman.jones@att.net.
